Position Overview
The Recruiter Intern will support the Talent Acquisition team in the day-to-day recruitment and hiring operations of the organisation. This role provides an opportunity to gain practical, hands-on experience in candidate sourcing, resume screening, interview coordination, recruitment administration, stakeholder communication, and HR documentation.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Talent Acquisition and HR teams to support the end-to-end recruitment process while developing a strong understanding of professional recruitment practices.

Key Responsibilities
1. Candidate Sourcing
- Review and identify relevant candidate profiles through job portals and professional networking platforms, including LinkedIn, Naukri, and Indeed.
- Source candidates based on approved job descriptions and defined role requirements.
- Maintain an active pipeline of suitable candidates for current and future hiring requirements.
2. Resume Screening
- Review and screen resumes against job descriptions and specified selection criteria.
- Shortlist suitable candidates for further consideration.
- Prepare and maintain daily or periodic candidate shortlist reports.
3. Candidate Communication and Initial Screening
- Conduct introductory calls with prospective candidates.
- Provide candidates with relevant information regarding job roles, responsibilities, and recruitment processes.
- Assess candidates based on basic eligibility, experience, availability, and suitability for the role.
- Maintain professional and timely communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
4. Interview Coordination
- Coordinate interview schedules between candidates and hiring managers.
- Send interview invitations and confirmations.
- Maintain and update interview calendars and schedules.
- Follow up with candidates and interviewers to ensure smooth coordination.
- Support the collection and tracking of interview feedback.
5. Recruitment Tracker and Database Management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment trackers, spreadsheets, and/or Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
- Record and update candidate status throughout the recruitment lifecycle, including:
- Sourced → Screened → Shortlisted → Interview Scheduled → Selected → Joined
- Ensure candidate records and recruitment data are maintained accurately and confidentially.
6. Email and Administrative Communication
- Draft and send candidate follow-up emails, interview reminders, feedback communications, and documentation requests.
- Assist with recruitment-related HR documentation and administrative activities.
- Ensure timely follow-up with candidates and internal stakeholders.
7. Job Posting and Recruitment Support
- Assist in posting and updating job descriptions across relevant recruitment platforms.
- Ensure job postings contain accurate and up-to-date information.
- Support the Talent Acquisition team with recruitment campaigns and other hiring initiatives.
8. Internal Coordination
- Coordinate effectively with the HR team, Talent Acquisition team, hiring managers, and candidates.
- Assist in ensuring a smooth and efficient recruitment process from sourcing through selection.
- Support other recruitment-related activities as assigned by the reporting manager.

Eligibility Criteria
- Pursuing or having completed a BBA, MBA, BA, MA, or equivalent qualification in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated interest in Talent Acquisition and recruitment.
- Strong interest in developing a career in Human Resources or Talent Acquisition.
- Availability to undertake a six-month internship.
- Ability to commit to the internship duration and fulfil the responsibilities associated with the role.

Recognition of measurable contributions, where applicable, such as positions supported or closed, candidate pipelines developed, recruitment campaigns supported, and other relevant accomplishments.
Future Endorsement
A positive recommendation based on the Intern's overall performance, professional conduct, skills, and contribution during the internship, where appropriate, for future HR and Talent Acquisition opportunities.
The issuance and content of any Letter of Recommendation will be subject to the Intern's overall performance, conduct, and successful completion of the internship.
